Okay, so we went a little early! But we had a good time anyway. Josh found out quickly that the green strawberries were not very tasty!
Well, I suppose I should just resign myself to the fact my darling little boy is going to be a racer. It's in the blood after all. His daddy was a champion 4-wheeler, his sister raced quarter-midget cars, and his great grandfather and uncle both were professional stock car racers as well!
Josh outgrew his first little quad, so we got him this monster. LOL He sat right on it, barely reaching the pedal, and rode like a pro!
Josh was SO happy when we brought home his new quad...couldn't wait to ride it! ...Even woke up in the middle of the night crying for it!
I just love this photo.... blurry and all! He was so happy this past weekend and has such a wonderful, contagious, uplifting, heart-felt, 2 year old laugh.
Oh, so sad to be leaving... No one wanted to go back home! (even though we come just about every weekend in the summer!) Dada pulls Josh back to the camper in the late afternoon. Even blurry, I love this shot.
What a lovely little spot to fish. Fish sure liked this spot, nesteld under a sahdy tree by the old 1800's mill. Look closely, there's a fish on the line! Sheard's Mill Covered Bridge provides a beautiful background setting as well!
Josh, not even 2 1/2, has become very adept at catching frogs - he can snatch them up with one hand!
